Fichua Somo is an Initiative of Sortedlife Husika-Afrika Group which aims to help children go to and stay in school, by providing the resources that most often keep them away from school.

Our team leader RevBantu was yesterday 31st May 2022 elected as one of the form one parents representatives at Chumani Secondary School, Kilifi County.

Sortedlife Husika-Afrika Group through this initiative is partnering with among other, Kenya Connections to sponsor students in various learning Institutions across the Country. 10+ students are currently in various High schools in three counties, including four in Chumani. 50+ are being sponsored in Pre Primary and Primary at International School.

Yesterday, we managed to secure an additional slot for a boy to join form one. The boy got 391 marks but has been home since 2020 due to school fees. We want to thank the Chumani Secondary School leadership led by the Principal Mr. Emmanuel Katana for accepting to admit the boy very minimum requirements.
