When people come together, great things happen. The International Forests Day, Eco-Green Initiative joined the Deputy County Commissioner (Nzqui Sub county) Mr. Solomon Mpapale and other leaders of the national government, Tana Athi River Development Authority, Lukenya College, Ngetha Fruit Producers, Judycaster and Man Stevo Nurseries during a tree planting activity at the Nzaui DCC offices.
980 Seedlings were distributed and planted during the event that was joined by members of the Nzaui community.

This Tuesday, we held a sensitization meeting at Maatha Block attended by The Green Belt Movement, KFS officers, Eco-Green Initiative CFA members, and the Maatha Community.
The Green Belt Movement trained and contracted Seventeen Green Volunteers from the Maatha community to assist in guarding and taking care of the Hill ensuring that no grazing or felling of trees in the forest.
