The main purpose of Gwassi Universal Alliance for Rural Development is to develop capacities of grass-root community along the lake Victoria basin (Gwassi) to mitigate against against the effects of poverty through community led intervention. We implement activities that are geared towards health promotion, environmental conservation, water sanitation and hygiene, food security and sponsorship. W

e value partnerships and currently in partnership with World Vision, Undugu society of Kenya, government line ministries and the county government of Homa Bay. We have a staff size of 13 and 20 volunteers;
