Every child deserves a day where the sun shines just for them. ☀️✨

47 years ago, in 1979 industrialist and philanthropist Manu Chandaria initiated the very first Sunshine rally as a tribute to his brother living with a disability. A Kenyan event which has grown to giving over 10 thousand differently able children a fun day out.

For over four decades, the Rotary Sunshine Rally (RSR) has brought joy, dignity & inclusion to learners with disabilities, reminding us that every child deserves to be seen, celebrated & included.

We are beyond excited to invite you to the inaugural Eastern Region Sunshine Rally🎊This is more than just an event; it’s a day dedicated to joy, laughter, and pure entertainment for children abled differently. Join us as we come together to make memories that last a lifetime.

In observance of the we had an informative session on stress management led by Rtn. Charles Kinyanjui.

Take home notes from the session on how to manage stress brought about by an overwhelming work environment:
1) Strive for a work-life balance by creating time for family, friends or personal time ensures you have an outlet for work-related stress.
2) Set realistic attainable goals - set goals that are realistic, work towards achieving them and beat the deadline you set.
3) Engage in stress-relieving activities such as exercise, listening to zen music, and healthy hobbies.
4) Seek out professional help - a therapist offers a safe haven where you could express yourself freely. Opening up to someone who isn’t your partner, your mentor, your support system and is duty bound not to disclose your conversations can be want you need.
