Dear partners,

This April, Caring for Kenya’s Kids (C4KK) is organising our Holiday Tutoring & Vocational Support Program for vulnerable children in our community.

During the school holidays, many children lack academic support, mentorship, and safe spaces. Through this program we will provide:

• Intensive tutoring in Math, English, and Science
• Mentorship and life skills training
• Vocational exposure and practical skills
• Meals and a safe learning environment.

Our goal is to help these children improve academically, grow in confidence, and develop into future leaders.

The total program budget is KES 150,000 (USD 1,300).

We warmly invite you to partner with us in nurturing these young lives. Any support big or small will make a real difference.

Thank you for standing with us to give hope and opportunity to vulnerable children.
Blessings,

Peter Mwangangi

Organization: C4KK – Caring for Kenya’s Kids
Program Period: April School Holidays
Target Beneficiaries: 40–50 vulnerable children and youth

Program Purpose

During school holidays many vulnerable children lack structured learning and mentorship opportunities. The C4KK April Holiday Tutoring and Vocational Support Program seeks to provide academic support, practical skills training, and spiritual mentorship to help children grow academically, socially, and morally.

The program will include academic tutoring in key subjects, vocational exposure, life-skills training, mentorship, and recreational activities. These sessions will help keep children engaged during the holidays while building confidence, discipline, and future career awareness.
Impact of Your Support.

We sincerely appreciate the continued support of our partners and friends who have stood with C4KK. Your generosity has been instrumental and truly a game changer in the lives of the children we serve.

Through your previous support of our tutoring initiatives, our children received consistent academic guidance and mentorship. As a result, many of our students performed above average in their final examinations, showing significant improvement in subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Science.

Your support has helped:

-lmprove academic performance among vulnerable children
-Increase confidence and motivation to learn

GETTING INTO 2026 IN STYLE

NEW YEAR SERMON: “STEPPING INTO THE NEW YEAR WITH GOD”
Key Text: Isaiah 43:18–19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
INTRODUCTION
A new year is not just a change of calendar — it is an invitation from God.
An invitation to leave what was behind, align with His will, and walk intentionally into what He has prepared.
God does not give new seasons for decoration — He gives them for transformation.
1. LETTING GO OF THE OLD (Isaiah 43:18)
“Forget the former things…”
The past year may have had failures, losses, disappointments, or unfulfilled plans.
Some people enter a new year physically, but remain mentally and spiritually stuck in the old one.
God cannot pour new wine into old wineskins (Luke 5:37).
Application:
Let go of past sins → receive forgiveness
Let go of past victories → stay humble
Let go of past pain → allow healing
👉 You cannot move forward while holding backward.
2. DISCERNING GOD’S NEW THING (Isaiah 43:19a)
“See, I am doing a new thing…”
God is always active, but not everyone perceives what He is doing.
New seasons require spiritual sensitivity, not just excitement.
The Israelites missed God’s move many times because they expected Him to act the same way.
Application:
Pray more than you panic
Listen more than you speak
Seek God’s will, not just blessings
👉 New direction requires fresh obedience.
3. WALKING BY FAITH, NOT COMFORT (Isaiah 43:19b)
“I am making a way in the wilderness…”
Wilderness seasons feel confusing, uncertain, and uncomfortable.
But God specializes in creating paths where none existed.
Faith is not knowing all the steps — it is trusting the One who orders them (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Application:
Start that ministry
Repair that relationship
Take that step of obedience
Trust God with your finances, family, and future
👉 God does not reveal the whole map — He reveals the next step.
4. COMMITTING THE YEAR TO GOD (Psalm 127:1)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
Planning without prayer leads to pressure.
Goals without God lead to frustration.
A God-centered year produces fruit, peace, and purpose.
Application:
Dedicate your year in prayer
Align your plans with God’s Word
Put God first in time, resources, and decisions
👉 When God leads, provision follows.
CONCLUSION
This year:
Don’t just survive — thrive in God
Don’t repeat mistakes — walk in wisdom
Don’t fear the unknown — trust the faithful God
DECLARATION
This year I walk on purpose.
This year I obey God.
This year I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).

🎉 C4KK NGO – New Year Message (2026)
Dear Partners, Friends, Volunteers, and the C4KK Family,
As we step into this New Year, we thank God for His faithfulness and grace that has carried us this far. In every challenge and every victory, the Lord has reminded us that He is still at work through His people.
At Caring for Kenya’s Kids (C4KK), we enter this year with renewed faith and commitment to serve vulnerable children and families with love, dignity, and compassion rooted in Christ.
The Bible declares:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:19
As we move forward, we believe God is doing a new thing through education support, food security, healthcare, clean water, and skills empowerment—bringing hope where there was despair and opportunity where there was limitation.
We also stand on His Word which says:
“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” – Psalm 82:3
In this new year, our prayer is for:
Greater impact in the lives of the children we serve
Strength and unity among our partners and volunteers
Faithful stewardship of all resources entrusted to us
May the Lord bless the work of our hands and establish every effort done in His name.
Thank you for walking with C4KK. Together, we continue investing in our country by investing in our kids.
Happy New Year and God bless you abundantly.

✨ SERMON:
“A Gift of Love to the Forgotten”

Scripture: Proverbs 19:17 — “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will reward them for what they have done.”
INTRODUCTION
Christmas is a season of giving. A season of remembering the love of God shown in Jesus Christ.
But while many will celebrate with food, family, and warmth, others—especially elderly widows and grandmothers—will sit alone, hungry, and forgotten.
The question is:
❓ How can we reflect Christ’s love to the forgotten at Christmas?
1. GOD SEES THE VULNERABLE
Read: Psalm 68:5 — “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows…”
God identifies with the weak, the lonely, and the overlooked.
He does not ignore widows and the elderly; He defends them.
When we minister to them, we join God in His work.
Application:
There are elderly women among us who have no income, no families visiting, and sometimes no meals.
Christmas shouldn’t be a day of sorrow for them.
2. OUR GENEROSITY REFLECTS GOD’S HEART
Read: 1 John 3:17 — “If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his heart…”
Love is seen in action, not only in words.
God loved by giving His Son — John 3:16.
When we give, we imitate His example.
Application:
Giving to the grannies is not charity; it is worship.
We are giving to the Lord Himself.
3. WHAT WE GIVE, GOD MULTIPLIES
Read: Luke 6:38 — “Give, and it shall be given unto you…”
God blesses generosity.
We never lose when we give sacrificially.
A small contribution can change a life.
Application:
You may think, “My gift is small,” but combined, we can bless 50 grannies.
Each care pack is a testimony of love.
4. WE ARE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS
Read: Matthew 25:35-40
Jesus says:
“I was hungry and you gave me food… I was naked and you clothed me…”
Jesus identifies with the poor.
Serving the needy is serving Christ Himself.
Application:
Our PayBill giving, food donations, and volunteer support are eternal acts.

CALL TO ACTION

So today, let us respond to God’s word:
Give generously – Mpesa Paybill: 247247, Account: 694028
Donate items – food, clothing, bedding
Volunteer to package and distribute
Pray for the ministry

CONCLUSION

Imagine the joy on Christmas morning when a granny receives food, warm clothing, and hope.
Imagine the testimony:
that through C4KK, the love of Jesus reached a forgotten home.
Let us make Christmas brighter for these women.
Let us reflect God’s love through giving.

CLOSING PRAYER

“Lord, thank You for Your generosity toward us.
Give us compassionate hearts.
Help us to see and serve the vulnerable.
May our gifts bring dignity, hope, and joy to every granny we bless.
Use us as Your hands and feet this Christmas.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
