Peace is not optional. It is the foundation of everything we are trying to build.

War does not just destroy buildings, it disrupts belonging, silences young voices, and steals opportunities from generations that had no part in causing the conflict. The scars of poor decisions echo far beyond the present moment.

As leaders, as communities, as institutions, we carry the responsibility to ensure our people never suffer from wars born out of pride, power struggles, or short-sighted decisions. True leadership requires foresight. It requires understanding that the magnitude of conflict is measured not only in today’s loss, but in the instability of generations after us.

At YSD, we remain committed to building resilient communities where dialogue replaces division, and young people are empowered to become bridge builders, not casualties of systems they did not create.
Choose peace.
Invest in young people.
Protect belonging.

🎓 Today, we celebrated our mentor Jonathan as he graduated with his Degree in Education! 💙

While there, the AIC Ng’ele Tawa community invited YSD to return and empower their youth to be more resilient, more exposed to the outside world, with drug abuse highlighted as a major challenge. 🚫💊

At YSD, we don’t want to be one time visitors, we want go back and walk with communities. Jonathan has the heart to mentor; now let’s stand with him to mentor even more. 💪

Who’s ready to help us return to AIC Ng’ele Tawa? 🙌
