The organization undertakes the following activities to achieve its objectives;
1) Orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) support project that involves educational support initiative, basic needs support, school reading program,career path guiding and counseling.
2)Street Children Project. The project aim at bringing restoration to street kids; create an environment that enables to re-establish i
n each child a sense of dignity and self worthy necessary to counseling and re unite with the family and the community
3)Community Microfinance Project
A village savings and loans, which is a community managed microfinance based on group savings and loan methodology offered by KCEP and is managed and controlled by the community. It’s a saving led microfinance where members of the group Save and loan themselves and repay with interest until they complete the cycle consisting of 12 months when they share out (liquidation). It helps to manage their household cash flow. Provides lump sums for lifecycle-events which include income generating projects. The project targets widows, small scale business people, village women groups, disabled peoples groups, people living positive, adult street boys.
4)Free Computer Training to Orphans and Vulnerable Youths
This is free computer trainings for the orphans and vulnerable youths from the communities in Emuhaya District. They are young people who have never worked with a computer before and they cannot afford to pay for computer lessons in colleges. This is meant to empower them through computer skills and enable them acquire information technology skills to help them secure jobs in the information and technology sector as a source of their livelihood.
5)The CyberCafe Project
A self-sustaining project that acts as an income generating activity to support Kipepeo projects financially. The project offers internet services to the community, typesetting work, lamination, selling of stationeries, scanning of documents.
6)Community Voluntary Service
Deployment of both local and International volunteers to community projects. The volunteers share their skills and experiences with the local community, intercultural exchange, idea development and exploration of the local serenity.
7)Eco-Tourism
Promotion of local tourism thorough safeguarding and protection of the local sceneries for a greener economy basing on three pillars of Sustainability; Environmental Sustainability, Social Sustainability and Economic Sustainability. The project supports climate change!
8) Youth Empowerment project- The project aims at enabling youths in the communities realize their potential and engage in community development activities. The project involves school visitation and career development talks, s*x and health education, self esteem, drugs abuse education and theater performances. The volunteers will get involved in material presentations, theater performances, one on one discussions with pupils and youths, documentation, community youths mobilization, designing and dissemination of educative brochures and leaflets, trainings and establishment of more community youth groups in record keeping, leadership, group management, entrepreneurship, recreational and social activities.
9)Women Empowerment and Kipepeo Sisters Empowerment Project- The project aim at empowering women to realize their potential and engage in development issues like their counter part men, through motivational talks to women and young ladies, formation of women and ladies group at either community level, school level, village level, capacity building trainings in leadership, counseling, career guidance and counseling, HIV/AIDS and STI education, rights education, formation and establishment of forums and discussions/debates on any pertinent issue that affects women, economic empowerment through business skills trainings, opportunity identification and establishment of groups for community microfinance at village level.
10) HIV&AIDS Awareness Project-The project aims to restore hope in HIV infected and affected people, involving providing psychological support to HIV positive people, economic empowerment through training in business, visits to health centre for HIV and AIDS assessment, home visits to bed ridden HIV patients, home based care training for guardians of HIV patients, hospital visits, stone painting with HIV and AIDS awareness messages.
11) Early Childhood Development Programme– The organization runs a kindergarten school project involving empowering the needy families and their children who are unable to afford normal school fees to get educated basic on the Kenyan education curriculum as well as recreational activities. The kindergarten has baby classes, pre-care and pre-unit.
