Last Saturday, Faulu Productions proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort 6 of our Arts, Dance and Movement Therapy Program, implemented in partnership with Cheza Cheza.
This program goes beyond dance it creates a safe space where young refugees can heal, express themselves, build confidence, strengthen emotional well-being, and develop leadership skills through movement and creativity. Over the course of the program, participants embraced teamwork, resilience, self-expression, and personal growth. They leave as empowered young leaders, ready to use art and movement to inspire positive change in their communities.
We are deeply grateful to Cheza Cheza for their partnership and shared commitment to using dance and creative expression as powerful tools for healing, inclusion, and transformation.

Congratulations to all our Cohort 6 graduates. Your creativity, courage, and determination continue to inspire us. Keep shining, keep creating, and keep moving forward.

Our little preschool stars are taking their Term Two exams, and our hearts are overflowing with pride.Watching them sit with such confidence, curiosity, and courage fills us with so much joy. These precious children, many of whom were born in the heart of Kakuma Refugee Camp, are growing, learning, and shining brighter every single day.
We celebrate every small effort, every determined smile, and every brave step forward. May these little ones continue to blossom with grace, confidence, and endless possibilities.At Faulu Productions, we believe every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, and rise no matter where their journey began.Thank you to everyone who continues to support these young dreams. Learning Beyond the Classroom,today was a truly special day for 30 children from our Tahirih Preschool. For the first time, they stepped into our demonstration garden for a hands-on learning experience that brought their curiosity to life.
Many of these children were born and raised in Kakuma Refugee Camp. For them, fruits like mangoes, papayas, guavas, and oranges had only existed on a plate they had never seen the trees they grow on, touched fresh vegetables in the soil, or watched how seeds become food.
Today, their eyes sparkled with wonder as they touched leaves, explored fruit trees, and learned how food is planted and cared for. Their smiles, questions, and pure excitement reminded us that real education goes far beyond books it is about experiencing the world with our own eyes and hands.

This is only the beginning. Every week, new groups of preschool children will visit the garden to learn about nature, planting, caring for crops, and protecting our environment.
At Faulu Productions, we believe every child no matter where they were born or the challenges they face deserves the chance to learn through experience, to dream bigger, and to grow with hope.
We are not just planting seeds in the soil. We are planting seeds of knowledge, confidence, resilience, and a brighter future.

Today, we had the great honour of welcoming Desmond Pag, CEO and Founder of COHERE, together with his dedicated team,It was a deeply meaningful visit filled with reflection, gratitude, and renewed hope. We shared progress on our joint initiatives and witnessed firsthand the beautiful impact of our partnership on refugee and host communities.
This collaboration goes far beyond projects it is a shared commitment to restoring dignity, opening doors of opportunity, and building lasting change. Every child learning in our classrooms, every woman gaining skills and confidence, and every young person discovering their potential reminds us of what is possible when compassion meets action.
We are sincerely grateful to Desmond and the entire COHERE team for their unwavering trust, support, and belief in the resilience and potential of refugee communities. Together, we are not only providing services, we are nurturing hope and creating pathways to a brighter future.

Today, our team rolled up their sleeves in our Demonstration Garden, carefully transplanting healthy seedlings as part of our commitment to sustainable agriculture and food security in Kakuma.In this challenging semi-arid environment, our garden serves as a vital learning hub for both refugee and host communities. Here, families are gaining practical skills in climate-smart agriculture, water conservation, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods. Every seedling planted today represents hope,empowering families to establish their own kitchen gardens, improve household nutrition, and build greater self-reliance.
We are growing more than just plants. We are growing resilience, knowledge, and a greener future for our community.
Together, we are planting seeds of change one seedling at a time.

Today, on World Refugee Day, we remember that no one chooses to become a refugee. It is a painful journey forced by circumstances- leaving behind home, dreams, and dignity in search of safety.

Tomorrow, our precious preschool students at Faulu Preschool in Kakuma Refugee Camp will begin their short one-week break.
What started as a small dream to give refugee children a strong foundation in education has grown into a vibrant learning space where little minds are nurtured, curiosity is celebrated, and hope is planted daily. Through play, learning, and care, our preschool is not only preparing children for primary school but also giving them a sense of belonging, safety, and possibility in the middle of the desert.
The impact has been beautiful to witness — confident smiles, improved language skills, better nutrition, and parents who now believe in the power of education even in challenging circumstances.As we pause for this short break, we are reminded of how far we have come, and how much more we can achieve with continued support. We kindly appeal for partners and well-wishers to walk with us so that this vital project can keep running and reach even more children.
Every child deserves a chance to learn and dream, no matter where they are born.

Today, our team planted fruit trees in our Permaculture Demonstration Garden at Kakuma Refugee Camp.
In this harsh, semi-arid environment, these trees represent hope and resilience. Once they grow, they will provide nutritious fruits for our children, shade for the community, and a sustainable source of income for refugee and host families.This project is restoring the land and creating a greener, more self-reliant future in the desert.
Every tree planted is a step towards dignity and food security.

This week, we were pleased to welcome our long-time partners from Amala UK to the Faulu Productions Centre. For over five years, Amala has helped us expand access to education and opportunities for refugees and local youth. Our meeting focused on improving our partnership and finding new ways to keep empowering learners through education. Thank you, Amala, for your ongoing support, trust, and dedication to our community. Together, we are building brighter futures through education.

***We need to raise $600***
We are excited and grateful to announce that Faulu Productions has received 26 laptops to support our ICT and Digital Skills Program for refugees and vulnerable youth in Kakuma Refugee Camp.
The laptops are currently with our volunteer Luca in Zurich, and we are now raising funds to help ship them to Kakuma.
These laptops will have a significant impact on our community by helping us
-Expand our ICT training program
-Support online learning for students
-Teach digital and computer skills to youth
-Create opportunities for online jobs and freelancing
-Empower refugees with knowledge and self-reliance
In Kakuma, many talented young people want to learn technology skills, but they lack access to computers and digital resources. These laptops can help open doors to education, employment, and a better future.We are seeking support to cover the shipping costs and ensure these laptops reach Kakuma safely. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
