Look at that beautiful smile! Her smile is a testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
Leona was only a few months old when we welcomed her into our care. Today, watching her grow, smile, and blossom reminds us that every child deserves to be loved, cared for, and given hope.

We thank God for the gift of Leona and for the beautiful journey He has allowed us to walk with her.
And to every donor and supporter who has stood with us thank you. Your generosity is part of this story. Because of your love and support, little lives like Leona’s are being given a chance to grow, thrive, and experience the love they deserve.

This Sunday, our Calvary Kids are filling the service with joy as they dance and worship in God’s presence. Their smiles, energy, and love for God remind us that worship is for every heart, no matter how young.

We are grateful to see our children growing in faith, confidence, and love for God. Thank you for being part of their journey and helping create a safe place where they can learn, worship, and thrive.

Our visit to our children at school was a powerful reminder that nurturing a child goes beyond providing school fees. We encourage them, pray with them, celebrate their progress, and walk alongside them as they grow into confident, hope-filled leaders.

We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Calvary Development Organization and the County Government of Turkana. A Testimony of Hope, Compassion, and God's Faithfulness

At Calvary Development Organization, we believe that every child deserves an opportunity to live, grow, and dream, regardless of their circumstances. Our mission is to stand alongside vulnerable children and their families by providing care, hope, and support that transforms lives and restores dignity.

Today, we celebrate one of those remarkable stories.

Joshua, a young boy from Ethiopia, was facing one of the most difficult medical challenges. His condition seemed overwhelming, but through God's grace, the unwavering support of compassionate partners, and the dedication of everyone involved, what once appeared impossible has become a testimony of healing and hope.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Shekinah Family for choosing to stand with Joshua during this critical journey. Your generosity has been more than financial support it has been a gift of love, hope, and life. Your willingness to care for a vulnerable child has made a lasting impact, not only on Joshua and his family but also on everyone who has witnessed this miracle.

Above all, we give all the glory to God, the Great Physician, whose healing power has turned one of the most challenging cases into a powerful testimony. This reminds us that with faith, compassion, and unity, lives can be transformed.

Joshua's story is a reflection of what is possible when caring hearts come together. It reminds us that every vulnerable child deserves someone who believes in them, stands with them, and gives them a chance to experience a brighter future.

Calvary Development Organization recently carried out a Rapid Needs and Vulnerability Assessment in communities affected by the rising waters of Lake Turkana, including Kalokol, Long’ech, Namukuse, Kang’atotha, and El Molo Bay. The assessment revealed widespread displacement, food insecurity, loss of livelihoods, poor access to clean water, health challenges, and increased vulnerability among women and children.

The findings will guide humanitarian interventions and advocacy efforts aimed at supporting affected families with emergency relief, livelihood recovery, and long-term resilience solutions.

Together, we can bring hope and restore dignity to communities impacted by this climate-induced crisis.
