Archdiocese of Nairobi YCS Rally – Loreto Limuru High School

Our students from St. Joseph Technical Senior School joined fellow learners from across the Archdiocese of Nairobi for the YCS Rally held at Loreto Limuru High School, on Saturday 14 March, 2026. The gathering offered a beautiful opportunity for young people to grow in faith, listen to inspiring talks, and interact with students from other schools.

One of the key moments of the day was a vocation awareness session, where participants were encouraged to reflect on different life callings. A lay speaker shared insights on marriage as a Christian vocation, while priests and consecrated men and women spoke about the journey of responding to God’s call through religious life as sisters, brothers, and priests in the Catholic Church.

Students were also challenged through a reflection by Fr. Morris on the 5 F’s of Faithfulness:

* Filter – Allow Jesus to shape how we see and live life.
* Focus – Seek self-discovery and understand who God calls you to be.
* Fear – When faith is nourished, fear loses its power.
* Follow Through – Remain committed and faithful to your purpose.
* Fulfillment – True fulfillment is found in Christ.

The day concluded with Holy Mass, bringing everyone together in prayer and thanksgiving before students departed back to their respective schools, strengthened in faith and friendship.

Laughter, teamwork, and pure joy in every moment 💚⚽

At the Upendo OVC Programme under St. Joseph Development Programme, smiles say it all. Playtime is more than just fun, it’s healing, confidence building, and a reminder that every child deserves a childhood filled with laughter, friendship, and freedom.

Through simple games and shared moments, we nurture teamwork, build confidence, and inspire hope for a brighter tomorrow. 🌟

💜 Girls’ Group Counseling Therapy Session

On Saturday, 21st February 2026, our Grade 10, Form 3, and Form 4 girls at St. Joseph Technical Senior School came together for a meaningful day of reflection, guided discussions, and empowerment.

The session provided a safe and supportive space for our young women to share openly, learn from one another, and grow together 🌸 under the guidance of Miss Hellen.

We remain committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also emotional well-being and personal development. ✨ The day reminded us that every girl has a voice, every story matters, and together we can rise stronger. 💪💜

A Powerful Journey of Global Learning 🌍✨

From 31st January to 11th February, the Global Education Immersion Programme (GEIP 2026) brought together students from Belvedere College SJ, Dublin and St. Joseph Technical Senior School (SJDPK), Kangemi for two transformative weeks of learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

Through intensive, hands-on training in electrical installation, tailoring, hairdressing & beauty therapy, photography, carpentry, fashion & design, and briquette making, students put skills into action, building competence and confidence together.

Beyond the workshops, the immersion included meaningful engagement with Upendo OVC and the Jesuit Development Office, as well as visits to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Christ the King (CTK) Church Outstation, Nairobi National Park, Nairobi National Museum, and Ngong Hills, deepening faith, strengthening community bonds, and broadening environmental awareness.

The programme concluded with a reflective session at Mazzanti House, Karen, celebrating growth, friendship, practical skills development, and global solidarity.

Two weeks. Two communities. One shared mission of learning and transformation. 🌱🌟

United in faith. 🙏🏾✨

Today, our community gathered for a powerful Ash Wednesday Mass led by Fr. Kituyi, SJ, with neighboring schools joining us in worship. The church was filled, not just with people, but with prayer, reflection, and hope.

From Upendo OVC, St. Joseph Technical Senior School, to St. Joseph VTC, the entire SJDPK family stood together as one. 🕊️

As we begin this Lenten journey, we are reminded that we grow not only in knowledge and skill, but also in faith, humility, and purpose.
Marked with ashes, we walk forward renewed, ready to become men and women with and for others.
