The 2026 theme for is "End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls' Rights." Join this important conversation to:

💥Raise awareness of child marriage as a girls' rights and gender equality issue.
💥Centre girls' voices in conversations about their rights, aspirations and futures.
💥Examine the structural and social factors that contribute to child marriage.
💥Highlight the importance of investing in girls' education, health, safety, leadership, knowledge and economic opportunities through collaborative girl-centered programming as we prepare for Kuza Dada Narok Camp this December 2026.

🤝During Kuza Dada programming, facilitators are trained in creating girl-centered programming that prioritizes non-judgement. This foundational value ensures that girls can ask brave and vulnterable questions about what's happening in their lives and about reproductive health topics in ways they may not have experienced before. Shame and forcing beliefs onto adolescents will not motivate change and can evoke fear and misinformation.

🤝As researcher and social worker notes, "Shame corrodes the very part of us that believes we are capable of change."🤝

🤝Let's break down the Kuza Dada value of NON-JUDGEMENT.🤝

🤝ALL girls deserve the opportunity to freely express themselves, regardless of their backgrounds, abilities, beliefs and experiences! By remaining non-judgemental, staying curious, and asking questions, we can help girls arrive at the solutions they need for their situation through critical thinking, without imposing beliefs.

When a diversity of women and girls are represented, valued, seen, heard, AND encouraged to lead at Kuza Dada Camp we are a more full and vibrant community. We are always trying to grow in this area so that girls with different experiences aren't just present in the room, but their experiences and voices are centered and shaping their lives and communities.
