Who knows Erick Kiambi?

Erick says he is from Chuka (Metheru) and is currently stranded at Acre 5. A kind well-wisher found him, offered him food, tea and a warm clothes and reached out for help.

He appears mentally distressed and was attacked last night while walking along the road. We are urgently trying to trace his family and loved ones and get him to a safe place.

Please SHARE widely. If you know Erick, know his family, or can help us take him to a safe home, kindly reach out:

We checked on Maina today, and we are grateful to God that he is doing much better. He is now ready for discharge this week—a far cry from the frail, hungry and cold man we rescued from the streets of Kamandura.

Through our ongoing research, we have established that Maina may have been a victim of the 2007 post-election violence, during which he sustained serious injuries to his spine and stomach. Records from Nyahururu Hospital show that he was treated there in 2018, and efforts were made to trace his relatives, but none could be found.

We are continuing to piece together his story and, most importantly, trace his family so that we can reunite him with his loved ones.

The journey is not easy, but we believe that with the support of partners and volunteers, we will find a way forward.

If you can support this course in any way, please reach out.

No one wishes to find themselves in trouble. Sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn, and all one needs is someone to care.

Paul Maina found himself in such a difficult situation. He had spent several days in the cold streets of kamandura, hungry, weak and without anyone to turn to. We rescued him, and we continue to care for him as he recuperates at Tigoni Hospital.

After enduring the cold nights on the streets, keeping Paul warm and comfortable in his hospital bed has become a priority. Every small act of kindness reminds him that he is not alone.

As we continue supporting his recovery and trying to locate his family, we pray that our Good Lord guides every step of this journey.

“Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give another human being is simply to remind them that they matter.”

We checked up on Paul today at Tigoni Hospital, where he continues to make good progress despite experiencing some slight pain.

Today, we took him more fruits, generously sponsored by Wamburu wa Matunda, together with a hood to keep him comfortable and warm.

Paul is deeply appreciative of every effort made towards his recovery. He is looking much stronger and is no longer the frail man we rescued from the cold streets. He shared that, after spending several days without food or help, he had given up hope and felt he was staring death in the face.

We thank God for giving us the opportunity to help Paul through our collective efforts. Let us not tire in supporting him; he still needs us as he continues his journey to full recovery.

“The greatest gift we can give another human being is hope when they have almost given up.”

We visited Paul today at Tigoni Hospital, where he continues to recover after we rescued him from the roadside in Kamandura on 30th July 2026. He was sick, weak, hungry, and extremely frail.

He is responding well to treatment and is gradually regaining his strength following his recent surgical procedure.

We took him some fruits today, and we will continue supporting him throughout his recovery until he is strong enough. Tomorrow, we will take him a warm hoodie, as he requested, to help keep him comfortable.

According to his doctor, Paul is expected to remain admitted for about seven more days before he can be discharged. We remain hopeful that, in time, we will also be able to reunite him with his family.

"Humanity is measured not by how we treat the fortunate, but by how we stand with those who have no one else."

We checked on Paul today, Tuesday, 4th August 2026, at Tigoni Hospital, where he remains admitted in the male ward after we rescued him from the streets on Thursday, 30th July 2026. He was sick, weak, hungry, and in desperate need of help.

We are grateful to see that he is recuperating well. He is now able to speak fluently, and we are still making every effort to trace and reunite him with his family. In due course, we will go live with him to help bring his loved ones on board.

For now, our priority is ensuring that he fully regains his health. The rest will follow in God's perfect time.

"Humanity is not measured by what we say, but by what we do for those who need us most."

Our Lead Humanitarian visited Paul at Tigoni Hospital today, where he has been receiving treatment since being admitted on the night of Thursday, 30th July 2026. Earlier that day, we found him lying by the roadside—weak, hungry, unwell, and in urgent need of help.

Following medical examinations, doctors identified a condition in his lower abdomen that required surgery. Before the procedure, the surgeon informed us of the situation, and Paul personally gave his consent. We also spoke with him over the phone, reassuring him that he was in safe hands and encouraging him to remain hopeful.

Our Team Leader, Kamau James Waweru, accompanied by an anonymous humanitarian, visited him today but found him resting after the successful procedure. We left him with some fruits, which he will be able to enjoy once he is allowed to eat after the recommended recovery period.

We will visit him again tomorrow and continue praying for his full and speedy recovery.

Our mission is simple: to help whenever we can, when it matters most, in any way possible.

To everyone who has shown concern, offered prayers, volunteered, or reached out in support—thank you. Your compassion reflects the true humanitarian spirit, and we deeply appreciate every partnership and act of kindness.
