Waridi Foundation is a women and youth-led nonprofit organization committed to restoring dignity, empowering communities, and creating sustainable opportunities for girls, women, and young people across Kenya and the East African region.
For the past decade, we have reached over 10,000 girls through our flagship PadMe Initiative, providing reusable sanitary towel kits, menstrual health education, mentorship, leadership development, environmental conservation, and economic empowerment programmes. Every milestone has been made possible through the unwavering support of our partners, friends, families, volunteers, and communities. We proudly celebrate everyone who has walked this transformative journey with us.
Our mission is to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative, sustainable, and community-driven solutions that promote menstrual dignity, quality education, civic participation, environmental stewardship, peacebuilding, and inclusive economic empowerment. We believe that dignity is the foundation of opportunity and that empowered communities are built by investing in people, protecting the environment, and unlocking the potential of every girl and young person.

Advancing menstrual dignity through reusable and sustainable menstrual health solutions, ensuring girls stay in school, learn with confidence, and achieve their dreams.
🌹 Ua La Waridi Initiative
Empowering women and girls through mentorship, civic education, transformative leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and economic empowerment to build confident leaders and resilient communities.
🌿 Play & Plant Initiative
Harnessing the power of sport, talent development, and environmental conservation by nurturing young talent through rugby and other sporting activities while planting trees and promoting climate action.
🌊 Blue Economy & Ocean Conservation Initiative
Championing marine conservation, sustainable fisheries, coastal livelihoods, and the blue economy while empowering coastal communities to protect and sustainably benefit from ocean resources.
🌾 Ukulima Lamu Initiative
Promoting climate-smart agriculture, food security, sustainable livelihoods, and economic resilience for farming communities.

Promoting peacebuilding, dialogue, civic engagement, governance, conflict resolution, Pan-African collaboration, and transformative leadership among young people to build inclusive, peaceful, and resilient societies.
