Only in Syria, under the leadership of al-Julani Ahmed al-Sharaa, does it seem that a Christmas tree has become an existential threat, and the ingenious solution is to send Quranic verses to confront it, as if the tree will suddenly fall and declare its conversion to Islam, or apologize for its existence. O foolish Umayyads, you are the greatest enemy of Islam! What is happening is not respect for the religion, but rather an insult to it. When you use Quranic verses to hang in front of a Christmas tree with the intention of provocation, you are not defending Islam, but rather turning it into a cheap tool of hatred. If you believe in the Quran, it was not revealed to be used as a message of threat, nor to be raised against citizens celebrating their holiday. Christians in Syria are not a minority that needs permission to rejoice; they are the rightful owners of this land. And despite your objections, Merry Christmas to all our Christian brothers and sisters.
