Clean water in an African village has the dramatic ability to reduce sickness, provide improved health and welfare, and increase agricultural yields through irrigation. Clean water can foster sustainability in a community, providing jobs for local workers in addition to relieving women of the often long and dangerous walk to obtain water for their families. In turn, clean water provides opportunit
ies for improved education, better childcare, and community initiatives. This is an invitation to a community that has the power to positively impact hundreds and possibly thousands of children and families greatly in need of our help. By raising money to build wells we are endeavoring to meet a basic need and provide African villages with clean, accessible drinking water.
