The beginning of every school semester can be very stressful to both parents and students. Thinking back carefully, I remember those days as having been quite stressful for me as well. Financial worries, leaving home and being on our own, and trying to do well academically contributed to stressful transitions to school life.

Today, at my residence, my foundation donated Ksh45,000 towards tuition fee for the following 5 students;

David Pasa - Kibabii University

Dorcas Masinde - Kibabii University,

Veronica Masinde - Maultmedia University,

Michelle Wanyama - St. Cecilia Girls Misikhu, and

Hagai Wekesa - Mt Kenya University.

Each student received Ksh9000. In attendance were their parents and the guardian.

Every student has a fundamental right to an education. It serves as the cornerstone on which we construct our futures and make contributions to society. It equips us with the knowledge and abilities required to flourish in the contemporary world and gives us the freedom to take well-informed decisions that have a good influence on our communities.

Today, Benson Wanyonyi Foundation issued a cash cheque of Ksh105,000 to Friends Secondary School Chalicha in SikhenduWard. The scholarship will benefit 21 students who hail from needy families. Each beneficiary received Ksh5000 to clear their fee arrears.

The Foundation, through the "Back to School Initiative Program," is focused on supporting needy students across Sikhendu ward.

In present were the school principal, teachers, the BOM members, parents, and students.

The purpose of community development is to bring people together to work towards a common goal, improving the quality of life in their communities. It’s a powerful tool that addresses social and economic issues, promotes inclusivity and diversity, and empowers communities to take action. That's why the Benson Wanyonyi Foundation has taken the initiative to the contribution of building a new office for the Kikwameti Sub-Location Chief's office. The foundation donated 20 iron sheets and nails.
