🌍 It’s World Health Day 2026!

This year’s theme, "Together for Health. Stand with Science," highlights how protects our every day. For the liver community, research and medical advances help prevent, manage, and treat , improving outcomes and quality of life.

Observances like today remind us why elevating in agendas and recognizing as a non-communicable disease are critical steps toward healthier communities.

The campaign was created to unite the liver cancer community in a global conversation to raise awareness and drive progress against liver cancers. Rooted in the lived experiences of those impacted and informed by expert insight, the campaign focuses on four interconnected pillars: education, prevention, detection, and survivorship.
GGlobal Liver Institutebelieves that education is the foundation of prevention. By increasing understanding of liver cancer risk factors, including hepatitis infections, MASLD, alcohol use, and obesity, people are better equipped to take proactive steps toward protecting their liver health. The campaign also emphasizes the importance of early detection through screening and surveillance, especially in high-risk and under-served populations, as a critical strategy for improving outcomes. Beyond diagnosis and treatment, supports a vision of survivorship that includes long-term care, resources, and a strong community of support, ensuring that patients and caregivers are not alone at any point in their journey.
