We are an Association of Countrywide Innovation Hubs outside of Nairobi.

This quarter, Board Members and Regional Leads are participating in the Network Leadership Series (Mini NLS), a series of training sessions facilitated by in partnership with , designed to deepen how we lead and coordinate as a network.

Our leaders are exploring the following across three modules:
🔹 Module 1: Leading Relationally — shifting from a mechanical, organisation-at-the-centre worldview to one where shared purpose is the compass. Networks are living systems, not machines.
🔹 Module 2: Engaging Participants — learning how to extend quality invitations, honour the participation spectrum, and build engagement that is sustainable rather than pressured or transactional.
🔹 Module 3: Catalysing Collaboration — understanding the role of the network coordinator as gardener, conductor, and weaver. Someone who tends to the whole by connecting threads and creating conditions for the network to flourish 🤝

We are proud to introduce our Regional Leads and Co-Leads for the 2026 to 2029 term, consisting of the men and women who will serve as the bridge between our national network and the hubs and communities in .

🔵 South Eastern and Metropolitan Region:
Preston Mule (Ubunifu Hub Machakos) and Jesse Mogere (kayana)

🔵 Lake Basin Region:
Leah Nyambuche (Fie_Labs) and James O. Odhiambo (Sustainable Rural Initiatives)

🔵 Aberdares and Mt Kenya Region:
Joyce Wangeci Rubuya (Erevu Innovation Hub) and Festus Oduor Ndege MISK (Dehub)

🔵 Coastal Region:
Amani Katana (Youth Empowerment Program Initiative and Nadhifa Jama (IOMe Innovation Centre)

🔵 North Rift Region:
Namatsi Lukoye (ESPA) and Samwel Kimani (Tumaini Innovation Center)

🔵 South and Central Rift Region:
Susan Murugi (Nakuru Box) and Wesley Kijedi (CoELIB)

🔵 North Eastern Region:
Abdullahi Mire (Dadaab Hub) and Diramu Haji ( Youth Innovation Hub)

Their mandate is to connect hubs, convene communities, build partnerships, and ensure that every region of Kenya is visible and active in the national innovation conversation.

Are you passionate about supporting women entrepreneurs? This is your opportunity to make a real difference. 🙌

Our member EmpServe Kenya is looking for mentors to support women founders through the Program (Social Entrepreneurship Training and Digital Incubator for Women), running from September 2026 to March 2027. By volunteering just 10 to 15 hours, online and/or in person, you will help women entrepreneurs strengthen their ideas and navigate challenges that come with building thriving social enterprises.

The programme is led by The Womens Worldwide Web (W4) in partnership with EmpServe Kenya, WEIForward: Women and Youth Economic Imperative, and Hear Her Stories.

A milestone for inclusive entrepreneurship in Kenya. 🎉

The sixth and final phase of the Business Policy Awareness Creation Forums has successfully concluded in Soy (Uasin Gishu), Kisumu West (Kisumu), and Subukia (Nakuru); the end of a series designed to strengthen awareness of business policies and connect women and youth entrepreneurs to business support services.

members Wisehub, Nakuru Box, and EldoHub were among the implementing partners for this initiative on the ground, reaching entrepreneurs across three regions with practical insights on the Policy 2026, business formalisation, standards and compliance, market access, financial linkages, and opportunities under the NYOTA and KJET programmes.

Kenya's 7.4 million MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, and forums like these are what ensure that women and youth-led enterprises are not left behind. The IYBA-SEED initiative reinforces that a more inclusive entrepreneurship environment is built through collaboration. Proud of our members for being at the heart of this work. 💪

Our member MG Ihub has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kabarak University 🤝
This partnership is designed to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and the innovation ecosystem, creating more ways for young people to access opportunities, mentorship, and market-driven solutions.

It's a great example of how collaboration between institutions can strengthen Kenya's innovation ecosystem from the ground up.

Today we held our Regional Lead and Co-Lead Induction, officially welcoming the seven pairs of leaders who will drive 's mission across Kenya's regions for the 2026 to 2029 term.

For the Coast, North Eastern, Lake Basin, North Rift, South and Central Rift, Mt Kenya and Aberdares, and the Metropolitan and South Eastern region; our new Regional Leads and Co-Leads will serve as the bridge between national strategy and local momentum, connecting over 156 member hubs and more than 5,000 beneficiaries across seven regions.

We are proud to introduce our 2026 to 2029 Regional Leadership Roster:

As part of our commitment to strengthening member hubs beyond programmes and partnerships, has been distributing office equipment to hubs across our network, made possible through the generous support of the British High Commission, Nairobi.

We've distributed office monitors, IP Phones, smartphones, printers, water dispensers, flip charts, Access Point devices, and other essential equipment to our member hubs to improve their day-to-day operations and ensure they are better equipped to serve their communities effectively.

To every hub receiving its allocation: this is one of the many ways continues to work for you 💪
