Thank you, Kisumu Veterans, for giving us the opportunity to calibrate where we are against where we need to be. Your time, experience and willingness to share the field with us gave us a clearer measureโ€”and now the work becomes even more intentional.

There is value in a session that does more than test you; it reveals you. We leave with greater clarity on what is working, what needs sharpening, and what the next phase must demand from us. We appreciate you for giving us that reference point.

To the Twelve: the measure is in. You have seen where you are, and you know where you need to be. Now rise to the workโ€”and prepare to fly.

Prepare to Fly!
Itโ€™s a mindset. No excuses. We are building today for tomorrowโ€™s outcome โ€” living up to the test, breathing through the fire. Preparation is meant to be hard, the grind even harder, so ex*****on feels familiar and easier. We keep the faith. We set the pace. We follow the rhythm, one bib at a time.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช

To

The dream may be big, but the work begins right here. Your current training is about discipline, resilience, fitness, teamwork and learning to push beyond yesterdayโ€™s limits. Every drill, every correction and every difficult session is preparing you for the opportunities ahead. Talent may open the door, but consistency, character and hard work are what carry you through it.

Eyes on the Prize! Keep working. Keep growing. Keep believing.

Today, I want to tell a storyโ€”a story of love, passion and hockey.
The Tunza dream was brought to life in 2018 by the passionate Raquel Nyte.( Her story is one for Netflix, but thatโ€™s for another day).
TunzaSports brought hockey to Seme, and young girls thrived.
Since 2022, no major national event has been without at least two Tunza graduates. That is the impact of the programme.
In 2023, Ng'iya Girls, once the underdogs in a county dominated by Lwak and Nyamira, got a boost from Tunzaโ€”and they responded with back-to-back national appearances.
The latest proof? 3 of Kenyaโ€™s ten Africa Junior Hockey 5s runners-up were Tunza graduates.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Shanel โ€” a defensive monster and true leader.
๐Ÿงค Ruth โ€” arguably our best goalkeeper at the tournament.
โšก Mitchel โ€” those who watched her play know how much she dominated.
Three girls. One programme. One dream.
The future is bright because Tunza and Nyte dared to dream.
Tunza is growing bigger and better, changing lives one player at a time.
So, reach out to Raquel Nyte and the Tunza family. Even a simple โ€œGood workโ€ goes a long way.
As fans of the game, we celebrate the joy you have given us.
Thank you, Tunza Sports. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘
The story is still being written.
