Good morning to you all!!

It is with deep gratitude that I today, as the Founder and CEO of *CHANGE-SHINES CBO* , extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this remarkable occasion a success.

First and foremost, I wish to give special thanks to our *presiding Archbishop, George Nyambuo* and *Rev Father Joel Osano* , for his spiritual leadership and unwavering support in blessing this organization. Your presence and words have truly elevated this launch.

To the entertainers who brought joy and laughter to our event – comedians *Onyulo, Solo, artist of the day and Kurutu* – your humor lit up the room and reminded us of the power of positivity in our work.

I cannot forget to acknowledge the incredible leadership team of CHANGE-SHINES CBO, whose dedication and hard work behind the scenes ensured that today would be possible. Your commitment to our mission of change shines through every step we've taken together.

A special appreciation also goes to the political leaders who honored us with their presence today. Your involvement signifies the importance of partnership 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 civil society and government as we strive to make meaningful changes in our communities.

Change-Shines Community Based Organization (CBO ) was officially founded on December 27, 2023, driven by a mission to empower vulnerable members of the community and foster sustainable development. The organization took a significant step toward establishing its leadership by holding its first Executive election on February 5, 2024. Following the election, CHANGE-SHINES CBO was formally registered on June 19, 2024. Shortly after, it began full operations with the opening of its office on July 16, 2024. To celebrate its official debut, the organization was launched to the public on September 13, 2024.

In its early achievements, CHANGE-SHINES CBO constructed a house for a widow who had been severely affected by floods, providing her with safety and shelter. Additionally, it founded the Change-Shines Stars FC football club to promote sports and youth engagement. The organization also played a pivotal role in raising school fees for three college students, ensuring the continuation of their education.

Looking toward the future, CHANGE-SHINES CBO has laid out ambitious plans to address critical issues within the community. These plans include launching programs focused on digital literacy and innovation, promoting mental health advocacy, engaging in environmental conservation efforts, enhancing education support, expanding its sports programs, and pursuing broader community empowerment initiatives.
