Some stories break your heart so deeply that you simply cannot look away.
A violent storm has destroyed a small nursery school in Nyakach, leaving more than 50 children under the age of five without a classroom. The little structure where they once laughed, learned, and dreamed has collapsed into a pile of twisted iron sheets and broken walls.
Today, these innocent children are trying to continue their lessons under the shade of a tree. But with the rainy season quickly approaching, even that small shelter will no longer protect them.
These are children who should be learning their ABCs, singing songs, and preparing for a brighter future—not sitting outside with no classroom to call their own.
At Safari of Hope, our mission has always focused on supporting vulnerable families through food security, clean water, housing, and sustainable livelihood projects. We do not normally build schools. However, after witnessing this heartbreaking situation, we simply could not walk away.
We are humbly asking friends and compassionate hearts everywhere to help us put up a simple temporary structure where these young children can safely continue learning before the rains arrive. It doesn't have to be a permanent building—just a safe place that gives them hope and protects them from the weather.
Every gift, no matter the size, can help provide timber, iron sheets, and other basic materials needed to give these children a chance to learn in safety once again.
Please stand with these little ones. If you are unable to give, we ask that you share this story so it reaches someone who can.
Together, we can turn this heartbreaking loss into a story of hope.

It takes a village to build a home. It takes love to build hope. ❤️🏡
If you look closely at these photos, you won't just see mud, timber, and hard work.
You'll see volunteers standing ankle-deep in the mud. You'll see local community members working side by side with our team. You'll see hands lifting poles, mixing mud, tying frames together, and refusing to stop until another family has a place to call home.
This is what Safari of Hope looks like.
No one stands on the sidelines. We all become builders.
The mother whose house is being rebuilt joins in. The neighbours come to help. Our volunteers leave the comfort of their homes. Our partners and donors provide the resources. Together, we laugh, sweat, pray, and work until hope begins to take shape.
Every wall we raise says to a struggling family, "You are not forgotten."
Every handful of mud reminds us that hope isn't built in comfort. It is built through sacrifice, compassion, and people willing to get their hands dirty so someone else can have a better tomorrow.
These homes may be made of mud, but they are built on something much stronger—love, unity, and the belief that every family deserves a safe place to sleep.
Today, one more house is rising because ordinary people chose to do something extraordinary.
But there are still many families waiting for their miracle.
Will you help us build the next one?
You can pray with us, volunteer, share our mission, or give. Every gift, no matter the size, helps turn another family's tears into joy and another house into a home.

Together, we are not just building mud houses. We are rebuilding lives, restoring dignity, and proving that hope is strongest when we build it together.

At Safari of Hope, we are committed not to creating dependence, but to cultivating change-makers.

Every goat we distribute, every fishing boat we launch, every home we build, and every opportunity we create is guided by one purpose: to empower individuals to become active participants in the change they seek in their own lives.

Meaningful transformation occurs when people are equipped with the tools, support, and opportunity to rise. A widow who receives a goat is not simply receiving livestock—she is gaining the means to generate income. A fisherman who receives a boat is not merely receiving equipment—he is gaining the ability to provide for his family. A family that receives a safe home is not only receiving shelter—they are gaining dignity, security, and hope for the future.

We believe the strongest communities are built when people are empowered to contribute to their own success. While charity can address immediate needs, empowerment creates lasting impact for generations.

That is why Safari of Hope walks alongside communities—not to do everything for them, but to help them discover their own strength, resilience, and potential.

Together, we are not only changing lives. We are helping build a future in which people become the change they once prayed for.

❤️ Hope. Dignity. Empowerment. Change.

Whether you choose to pray with us, visit and serve alongside us, share our mission with others, or make a financial contribution, you are helping create lasting change in the lives of families across our communities.

A Letter We Could Not Ignore
Every day, we receive heartbreaking messages from families facing unimaginable challenges. Sadly, this is not unusual. This is just one of dozens of letters and requests for help that reach us from widows, orphans, elderly caregivers, and families struggling to survive.
Recently, we received a letter from Cynthia Akinyi Odigo, a young girl whose family's home collapsed a few months ago. Since losing their home, Cynthia, her mother, and their family have been living with uncertainty, fear, and the daily struggle of not having a safe place to call home.
Despite months of effort, reaching out to friends, sharing their story, and praying for support, the family has only managed to raise about $200 USD toward rebuilding their home. While they are grateful for every contribution, it is still far from enough to provide even a simple, secure shelter.
As we read Cynthia's words, we were reminded that behind every request is a real family, real pain, and a real opportunity to change a life.
Unfortunately, Cynthia's family is not alone. There are many more families waiting for help, each with a story that deserves to be heard and a future worth fighting for.
Today, we invite you to stand with Cynthia's family and others like them. Together, we can restore dignity, safety, and hope.

Together, we can turn tears into hope and despair into a new beginning.

🏡 A Dream Fulfilled for the Joseph Family in Asembo

Today, we celebrate more than the completion of a house—we celebrate hope restored, dignity renewed, and a brighter future for the Joseph family in Asembo.

What was once a dream has now become a reality through the generosity and compassion of friends who chose to make a difference. This new home stands as a testament to what can happen when people come together to support a family in need.

Safari of Hope extends heartfelt gratitude to the C. Felton Family, the C. & R. Corley Family, the S. Brown Family, and the L. Whittington Family. Your generous donations made this project possible and have given the Joseph family a safe, secure, and dignified place to call home.

Because of your kindness, a family now sleeps under a strong roof, protected from the elements and filled with renewed hope for the future.

This home marks an important milestone in our housing program. With the completion of the Joseph family's home, Safari of Hope has now successfully built four homes for vulnerable families in our communities. Each home represents a story of transformation, compassion, and hope made possible through generous supporters who believe that every family deserves a safe place to live.

To the Joseph family, may this home be a place of peace, joy, and countless blessings for generations to come.

❤️ Building Hope. Restoring Dignity. Transforming Lives.

If you would like to help us build more homes for vulnerable families, please consider supporting this project through Safari of Hope. Your donation can help provide shelter, dignity, and hope to another family in need.
