🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COFAS KENYA! 🎉 Community Forum For Advanced and Sustainable Development - COFAS

Today, we celebrate 23 years since COFAS Kenya was founded in 2003 and 12 years of visibility and engagement on Facebook. The journey has not been easy. It has been marked by struggles, sacrifices, disappointments and moments when giving up would have seemed easier. Yet COFAS has remained one of the greatest forces keeping me moving forward. For 23 years, we have stood with vulnerable communities, empowered women and young people, promoted health and dignity, and created opportunities where hope seemed lost. We may not have achieved everything we dreamed of, but every life touched and every community served has made the struggle worthwhile.

To the entire COFAS family our staff, volunteers, partners, supporters and the communities that have trusted us, thank you for walking this journey with us. COFAS, be encouraged! Our story is not ending; we are still growing, still serving and still transforming lives. The struggle has strengthened us, the lessons have shaped us, and our purpose continues to carry us forward.

Here’s to 23 years of service, resilience and impact—and 12 years of social visibility!

International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – June 26, 2026

Drug and substance abuse continues to destroy lives, families, and communities. It affects physical and mental health, fuels crime, weakens productivity, and robs young people of their dreams.

This year's theme, "World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses," reminds us that while drug-related challenges continue to evolve, so must our solutions. Prevention, education, early intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, and community support are all essential in building healthier, drug-free societies.

Join us today, Friday, 26th June 2026, from 9:00 a.m. at Urudi, Nyakach, as we raise awareness, educate our communities, and reaffirm our collective commitment to preventing drug abuse and combating illicit trafficking.

Together, we can protect our youth, strengthen our families, and build a safer, healthier future.

Say NO to drug abuse. Say YES to hope, health, and opportunity.
