Child Ambassadors Development, as a proud member of CCUC, joined hands with the team on 17th Julyat Kondele Comprehensive School for a beautiful mentorship and tree-planting outreach. 🌱

The pupils were lovingly encouraged to value integrity in both school and at home, and to always choose what is right even when no one is watching. To nurture their moral and spiritual growth, we also shared storybooks that will inspire them to become responsible, upright, and God-fearing young people.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the support and partnership of Child Welfare Organization, Child Ambassadors Kenya Alliance for Rural Empowerment KARE, the Directorate of Children Services, and the Kisumu Law Courts.

Together, we continue sowing seeds of integrity, knowledge, and hope in the hearts of young learners. 🙌

At Child Ambassadors Development, we rescue and reunite vulnerable children with their families, support their reintegration, provide mentorship and psychosocial support, and connect children to essential services through strong community partnerships and our network of Child Ambassadors Youth across Kenya.

Today we had an engaging discussion with young people on how to navigate the job search as fresh graduates. The session focused on practical steps such as identifying opportunities, preparing a strong CV, building interview confidence, and using networks wisely. It was a meaningful exchange that encouraged youths to stay hopeful, proactive, and ready to take advantage of available opportunities.

The Cohort 3 Youth Voice and Empowerment training on online marketing was filled with great energy and active participation. The youths embraced the session with enthusiasm, as it equipped them with practical skills and confidence to market and sell their products online.

The training was highly interactive and empowering, giving the participants valuable knowledge on how to use digital platforms to grow their businesses, reach more customers, and increase their income opportunities. It was encouraging to see the youths fully engaged and motivated, with many expressing excitement about applying the skills learned to improve their livelihoods.

CHILD Ambassadors Development CAD joined Stakeholder Engagement meeting at BLUE CROSS KENYA, Kisumu County.
A stakeholder engagement meeting on alcohol and substance use prevention was held at Blue Cross Kibos, bringing together representatives from Blue Cross Kenya, NACADA, civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, local administrators, and community members.
The meeting provided an important platform to review ongoing youth-focused alcohol prevention initiatives, reflect on the recent IDADA activities, and strengthen collaboration in the fight against alcohol and substance abuse. Discussions also focused on aligning community efforts with Kenya’s National Policy on Alcohol, Drugs and Substance Abuse (2025), with a shared commitment to protecting children and young people from the dangers of alcohol and drug use.
Together, we continue to build stronger communities, promote healthy choices, and support a future free from substance abuse.

Child Ambassadors Development officially onboarded cohort 3 for the Youth Voice and Empowerment project. The programme with 80% young women, 20% young men,offers hands-on training in web design, photography & videography, content creation, and online marketing. It equips youth to share their stories and advocate on issues like child protection, youth inclusion, GBV, climate action, and femicide, turning storytelling skills into influence and income.

The Children Advisory Committee held a meeting in partnership with the Nyando Sub County Directorate of Children Services to deliberate on child protection issues. The meeting aimed to strengthen service delivery, coordination, networking, and collaboration among stakeholders, while reaffirming our shared role in protecting children’s rights and promoting their wellbeing in the community. This is part of our role as Child Ambassadors in supporting the development and protection of children in the community.
