This International Day of the Girl Child, The Adah Foundation, in partnership with like-minded organisations, is bringing together voices committed to protecting, empowering, and investing in the girl child.

Under the theme “End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls’ Rights,” we are calling attention to the urgent need to safeguard girls from harmful practices, amplify their voices, protect their dreams, and create opportunities for them to thrive.

The Rainy season is here

Let's use this opportunity to plant many trees for a greener future. As team Nyakach Environmental CBO, we are ready to support any School/Institution within Nyakach that invites us for tree planting exercise or teaching on Environmental conservation.

Together, let's green our schools and conserve our environment.

🌱 ENVIRONMENTAL OUTREACH PROGRAMME UPDATE 🌍

As we look forward to the rains,we are preparing to resume our tree seedling distribution and environmental outreach activities in schools across Nyakach.

📍 Our programme will roll out in this order:
1️⃣ West Nyakach Ward
2️⃣ South West Nyakach Ward
3️⃣ South East Nyakach Ward
4️⃣ North Nyakach Ward
5️⃣ Central Nyakach Ward

Our focus will be on environmental education, learner mentorship, tree planting and awareness creation. Where possible, we will also support schools in establishing Environmental Clubs to empower learners to become responsible custodians of the trees and environment.

🌳 Together, we can nurture a greener, healthier and more sustainable Nyakach.

Let us remain united, committed and ready to make a lasting difference. 💚

Today, we held a successful Nyakach Green Champions Community Outreach 2026 at Kodum Primary School, bringing together learners and community members for a day focused on environmental conservation, empowerment and community well-being. 🌱💚

The outreach featured environmental conservation and climate change awareness, a tree-planting exercise, distribution of sanitary pads to primary school girls, a football friendly tournament for boys, and a netball friendly tournament for girls. 🌳⚽🏐

Special thanks to all our partners, supporters, well-wishers and everyone who stood with us to make this initiative a success. Your generosity, commitment and belief in our vision made a meaningful difference in the lives of the young people we engaged.

When we come together, we are empowering young minds for a greener future and building a cleaner, healthier Nyakach.

This Saturday we will be at Kodum Primary school in Central Nyakach Ward.

Community Outreach 2026 .

Activity of the day ;
1. Tree planting & Creating awareness on environmental conservation.
2. Girl Child Empowerment. we will be giving free Sanitary towels to ladies & health mentorship.
3. Boys football friendly match. we will be supporting local teams with Balls for training and linking the players to opportunities that arise through FKF.
