Enhancing Accountable Leadership Through Voter Education and Citizen Voice

Today, members of Nyalenda Dream Builders Community Based Organisation participated in a Voter Education and Citizen Voice Workshop held at St. Mary's Nyalenda Legion Maria Church in Nyalenda A Ward, Kisumu East Sub-County, Kisumu County.

The workshop emphasized the importance of voter registration, understanding the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, and empowering citizens to make informed decisions by electing accountable, transparent, and effective leaders during the 2027 General Election.

The event brought together representatives from youth groups, community-based organizations (CBOs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), and opinion leaders. Participants engaged in discussions on civic responsibility, constitutional rights, public participation, and the importance of strengthening citizen voices in promoting good governance and democratic leadership.

As Dream Builders Youth Group, we remain committed to promoting civic education, active citizen participation, and youth engagement in governance as we work towards building a more informed, inclusive, and democratic society.
