Wekeswa Women Amplifying Voices against Impunity is a non political, human rights non profit Organization.

Was registered in 2020 owing to the growing number of loosely connected women led Organizations in western Kenya.

Mental health is key in all our programmes. We managed to engage our team and together we shared our stories, challenges, success and gaps that needed to be addressed.
Violence is still a major threat among s*x workers. Stigma associated with HIV status came up strongly with abuses from fellow sisters taking the center stage.

We decided to eat together as we help reduce the inequalities faced during and after work hours and help address the issue of victimisation.

The journey is not easy but together we shall endure. We thank AWID for the support, the quiz was mind blowing and tested our human rights knowledge.

Every child deserves to be treated with love. S*x workers children are not lesser than the rest of the children. Giving them an opportunity to stay in class and achieve their dreams is the greatest thing we can do.

Education is a key component in our lives. We often hear a saying that says 'Education is the only equaliser '.

As Women Amplifying Voices against Impunity we value education in its diversity. We are supporting 2 students and through that, friends of WAVI supported us to renovate an administration block, a grade 2 class room and a urinal to ensure that our boys and girls access the best.

It's always our collective responsibility to give back to the community in whatever way. We will ensure that this INUA JAMII INITIATIVE supports every child in accessing the best classrooms and washrooms to help reduce UTIs and infections that can be reduced by exercising cleanliness.

We also call upon partners who are like minded to support this venture. As we know that home is where the heart is, we did this at Ulumbi Comprehensive School in Gem Constituency in Siaya County.

Giving comes from the heart and we should always exercise integrity at all costs.
