Brave Life CBO today was honoured by an invitation at the official opening of the "Hidden Talent Academy" in Ndare, Nyabondo. The team was represented by Mr John, our vice chairman who was flanked by the friends from Chile. Besides, the team also addressed local community members where they advised young parents on better ways of handling their children and encouraged the adolescent girls on how to be safe during their monthly periods. The youths raised concerns on how their parents handle their (youths) anger, stress and depression when they seek help.

Team Brave Life CBO led by Mr John had a great mentorship program this afternoon with students and teachers at St Hilarius Mixed Secondary School, Nyabondo. The school's cordial reception was one to appreciate. Issues addressed were menstrual hygiene maintenance, peer to peer counselling, opposite s*x relationships and precautions to take when faced with teenage challenges.

This evening, our team led by John visited Kananda School, where they met the staff and students.
Issues addressed included menstrual hygiene maintenance, personal hygiene, discipline and setting goals.
We highly appreciate and thank the team for making time despite a fixed school schedule.

Brave Life CBO shall have a mentorship program on 1/Feb/2025 in Nyabondo widows' centre. Kindly share and invite young girls for this.
We expect to have guests, who will be hosted by vice chairman John. He will also lead the session.

Mentorship program held on Friday 29th December 2023 in Nyabondo Day Primary School. Topics discussed were personal development and menstrual hygiene maintenance. One of the beneficiaries, Juliet, addressed the attendees, giving a great lesson on menstrual hygiene. Personal development and growth was addressed by the team leader Felix who encouraged the girls to participate in income generating activities that would promote oneness and encourage accountability.
We also gave out sanitary pads, humbly received from our patron Mr Samson Onditi who supported us with 42 sanitary pads.
