International Anti-Corruption Day reminds the world that corruption steals from the poor, weakens institutions, and denies youth equal opportunities. The 2025 focus on youth recognizes them as both the most affected victims and the strongest agents of change.
Importance to Kisumu Community
- Instills ethical values in children at an early age
- Empowers youth in informal settlements to demand transparency
- Strengthens community trust in reporting corruption without fear
- Supports better use of devolved funds for schools, water, and health services
- Builds tomorrow’s honest leaders from today’s pupils
The event successfully turned Manyatta Primary School into a powerful platform for anti-corruption education and demonstrated that when youth and community unite, integrity becomes unstoppable Defenders CoalitionTisa KenyaTI-KenyaTinada Youth Action Africa
