Building Financial Resilience for Greater Impact

Over the past three days, Hope to Live Charity Organization had the privilege of joining 27 other civil society organizations from across Kenya in Nairobi for the Financial Resilience and Sustainability for CSOs training organized by the Kenya Community Development Foundation, building on the online learning sessions conducted between May and June.

The training provided practical knowledge, tools, and strategies to strengthen financial management systems and promote long-term organizational sustainability.

Through engaging sessions, participants explored financial planning, budgeting, income diversification, strategic partnerships, risk management, governance, and other essential approaches that will help organizations remain resilient in an evolving funding landscape.

We are grateful to Kenya Community Development Foundation and Lightup Impact for creating this valuable learning opportunity. At Hope to Live Charity Organization, we remain committed to applying the knowledge gained to strengthen our systems, enhance accountability, and expand our impact in improving the health, nutrition, and well-being of older persons and vulnerable communities across Kenya.

With support from Kenya Community Development Foundation, we are committed to improving the wellbeing of older adults through our Senior Empowerment and Advocacy Hubs (SEAH). The initiative provides preventative healthcare education, social support, and economic empowerment opportunities for vulnerable elderly populations in underserved communities. Through community-based hubs, we are building a scalable model that promotes healthy aging, dignity, and resilience among older adults in Kenya. Stay tuned

Tuma Upendo Initiative (TUI) Distribution Drive
Join us on March 13th at Chiga, Kisumu East as TUI carries out a distribution drive to support 100 vulnerable elderly households in our community.

Food supplies and Non-edible household essentials

💥 Join Us for the SEAH(Senior Empowerment and Advocacy Hub) Fundraising Event

We're excited to host special fundraising event for SEAH
The Senior Empowerment and Advocacy Hub project is a comprehensive, community driven initiative that aims to empower and elevate the voices of vulnerable senior citizens aged 60 and above in Nyakach of Kisumu county, Kenya. The project will address the pressing needs and challenges faced by the elderly population, including poverty, social isolation, limited access to healthcare and exclusion from decision making processes.

Key services that will be funded under this grant will include peer support groups, table banking , skills training, cooperative enterprises, intergrational mentorship, community gardens, advocacy campaigns and linkages to essential services
