Today Chemelil Social Justice Center participated in meeting that was convened twith women representatives from civil society organizations in Kisumu County Courtesy of CSO Network and PHR organization, The discussion focused on:
- The status of gender mainstreaming and the implementation of existing county policies;
- Factors contributing to delays in delivering justice for gender-based violence cases;
- Strategies to strengthen referral pathways and improve coordination of survivor support services. gender, gaps in GBV justice delivery

On the 7th of April 2026 courtesy of Pamoja for Transformation -we engaged the community members especially the Youths and Women on matters access to and utilization of land for economic production, as a critical factor in improving livelihoods and reducing poverty in our communities,-
Where the Challenges includes limited access, ownership Rights, inadequate access to financial resources, cultural norms and lack of technical knowledge on modern and sustainable production practicing..!

Today Chemelil Social Justice Center was privileged to participate in Paralegals Capacity strengthening session courtesy of Haki Jamii through a project supported the Embassy of the Federal republic of Germany, that is geared towards Advancing Equitable access to Land, Housing and Basic services for the Marginalized community in Kenya's informal settlements..

On the 13th of January 2026, Being a member of Community Development Committee - Nyang'oma Ma*ogo Ward, we privileged to participate in the National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) Public participation-geared towards reviewing the status of the projects and ultimately to not only work on but a*o approve a budget for the next face of the project according the outlined Work Plan .
Present in the Public participation were atge County Agriculture Department officer plus the Farmer's already existing Sacco officially., FPO officials and the CIG/VMIG Members!
