As we've stepped into the year 2025, we at Lake Victoria Peace and Sustainability Center extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment throughout 2024. Together, we achieved remarkable milestones that brought us closer to a sustainable and inclusive future.
Last year, our projects focused on driving environmental conservation, community empowerment, climate advocacy, spreading Permaculture and Syntropic agroforestry in different corners of the world and promoting dietary shifts toward sustainability. From our clean-up initiatives along Lake Victoria’s shores to the impactful conservation campaigns, summits, and capacity-building programs, your contributions made these efforts possible.
This new year, we are inspired to build on these successes and take bolder steps. In 2025, we plan to:
1. Expand our 'Nature Shield' Conservation and Restoration program to safeguard biodiversity and enhance ecosystem resilience.
2. Launch innovative climate solutions, including renewable energy adoption projects and green business ventures, to drive sustainable economic growth.
3. Deepen our engagement with communities through educational campaigns on sustainability, Permaculture , Syntropic agroforestry, health, and climate resilience.
4. Strengthen partnerships to scale up our market clean-ups and implement transformative waste management systems.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to foster climate advocacy and policies that protect vulnerable populations.
