This August month 2025 was amazing. I really want to thank you my friends and familly who help for the water tank. When I came to the Island, I realise that it's needed more gutters. Then we've been buying some on the mainland in Mbita. Now we just have to wait for the rain to fill the tank. Thank you❤️

Easter is a great time for millions of people, my great time is to share my happyness with you. It took some time, unfortunatly Stanley had a serious accident with the bike, hoppefully he's getting better now. The watter tank was brought from the land by Fred (Stanley's dad) and Stanley. It took the water bus on the lake and now it's taking place close to the house. I really want to thank everyone for this amazing project, first the donators, my friends, my cousins, without them it would never happen. Thank you Stanley, Fred, Steve, Victor and all the people who work for it. You all make this world amazing 😇

A new beautifull story !

A long time without stories doesn't mean nothing happen !!! After months in Switzerland, short stops in France, Canada or USA what a pleasure to come back in Kenya...

From Nairobi I reach Mfangano Island 50mn by boat from Mbita on Victoria lake, it was great and emotional to see again my friends and familly on the Island. I have stayed unfortunatly just a week on the island with my friend Steve, because we still have many places to visit, to many places in Kenya and her neighbours.

I didn't imagine coming with nothing, then I bring some clothes, football shoes, books or pens. I am use to travel light with a small backbag but this time I had more than 35kg of things with me. On the Island life is simple and very close to nature, unfortunately if you are not a fisherman or not driving a bike getting money to survive is really hard. Here electricity is better you can have it every day if you can afford it, but the kitchen is still 3 stones with a fire and the lake is the washing place for every one, every thing but also a source of food.

We spend an afternoon with Steve climbing the mountain to reach his grandmother' garden, who climb everyday the track to take care of a maïz chamber against the monkeys. We eat some roast corn over there, I was really impressed by his strongest grandma who climb the moutain every day and spend the day chasing monkeys under the strong sun...

I really want to thanks Noam, Aurélie, Marie-Eve and Noam for their donations, I also want to thanks a lot the Blue Star team (a football club on the Island) for their welcome. Beeing here is receiving so many smiles everydays, on the Island they may have not that much things, but all their smiles have more values !
Thanks to this island indeed it's full Nature
