Today, we had a wonderful and inspiring meeting with the amazing women of our community at the Equality Stadium.

We shared ideas, listened to each other, and discussed how together we can continue building a stronger, safer, and more united community through sports, education, and empowerment initiatives. Their voices, wisdom, and support are a powerful reminder that real change begins when the community stands together.

The Equality Stadium is becoming more than just a football ground it is a place where unity, inclusion, talent, learning, and hope come together for everyone in the community, especially young people and girls.

As Football Without Borders Kenya, we are grateful for the trust and partnership of these strong mothers and women leaders who continue to encourage and support our vision for positive change. Together, we are building opportunities, empowering lives, and creating a brighter future for the next generation.

Happy World Football Day

Today, we celebrate the power of football to unite communities, inspire young people, and create positive change across the world. Through Football for the Goals (FFTG) and the vision of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), football continues to be more than just a game it is a tool for peace, equality, education, health, and opportunity.

At Football Without Borders Kenya, we believe every child deserves a safe space to play, learn, grow, and dream. Together, through sport, we are building stronger communities, empowering girls and boys, promoting inclusion, and creating hope for the future.

A strong community is built when generations stand together

Today, our elders joined us to support the ongoing construction of the changing rooms, library, workshop room, and latrine at Equality Stadium.

Their wisdom, presence, and belief in young people continue to inspire us.
Equality Stadium is more than a field it is a home for unity, inclusion, learning, and opportunity for all ages. From football to chess, darts, and walking soccer, everyone has a place here.

Together, we are creating a future where no one is left behind.

This is the reality for many of our young players.

A talented child, full of passion for football, but forced to train and play with completely worn-out boots. In some cases, they have no proper boots at all.

At Football Without Borders Kenya, we are appealing for support we are looking for new or gently used football boots (UK sizes 6–11) for our players.

We will cover all shipping costs. Your role is simply to donate we will handle the rest.

Your support can help protect these young players, restore their confidence, and allow them to fully enjoy the game they love.

Football goes beyond the pitch it connects, inspires, and opens new worlds

Today at Kasimba primary, our girls took part in a series of exciting friendly matches against Bonge FC and Oyugis United. But this was more than just football, it was a powerful exchange of skills, stories, and sisterhood.

Meeting and interacting with fellow players from Homa Bay County brought a new level of motivation and confidence to our team. From shared laughter to competitive spirit on the pitch, every moment was a reminder of the power of unity through sport.

These are the experiences that shape not just better players, but stronger, more empowered young women.

From muddy boots to big moments 💙⚽
The pictures say it all. A team, locked arm in arm, in the middle of a wet and heavy pitch tired legs, muddy kits, but hearts fully in it. This was more than a huddle it was belief, unity, and a promise to fight for each other until the very end.

Our boys have shown incredible character in the just concluded Sergent Super Cup. Competing against strong and experienced teams, they pushed beyond limits, trusted the process, and played with courage. Today, we celebrate them for reaching the semi-finals and finishing 3rd overall a proud achievement that reflects their hard work, discipline, and team spirit.

This journey wasn’t easy. From tough group matches to intense knockouts, every step was earned. And even in the rain and mud, they stood together just like in this moment reminding us that football is not just about winning, but about resilience, growth, and brotherhood.

We are truly grateful for the continued support from your generosity helps us look professional, feel confident, and stay motivated on the field; thank you for giving us the strength to keep going and making a difference through football.

Our U17 boys are making a strong statement at the ongoing Sergent Super Cup! 💪⚽

Yesterday, they kicked off their campaign with an impressive performance against Mithui FC, a senior team competing in the Homa Bay County League 3:0. Today, they continued their great form in their second group match against Mosocho Combine FC, another tough side from the Kisii County League 2:1.

Despite facing experienced senior teams, our boys showed confidence, discipline, and determination finishing top of Group D!🔥

We are proud of their powerful performances and the character they’ve displayed on the pitch. Next up, we face Kioge in the quarterfinals tomorrow. Let’s keep pushing and believing!

This is more than just a session it’s empowerment in action.

Our team is teaching young girls how to make reusable sanitary towels, giving them dignity, confidence, and a skill they can carry for life. When participants learn to make their own, they gain independence and break barriers around menstrual health.

This month is a big one for our Menstrual Hygiene Team! We are excited to expand this initiative to older women through our Home-to-Home Farming Projects creating a space where they will learn, share, and even play together.

Today’s Training Update

Today’s session was focused, energetic, and full of purpose. Our players showed great commitment as we worked on improving teamwork, communication, and ball control.

Strengthen passing accuracy and movement on the field
Build confidence in decision-making during play
Promote teamwork and leadership among players
Reinforce discipline, respect, and positive attitude
Beyond football, we continue to empower our young players with life skills that shape their future both on and off the pitch.
