I am deeply humbled and honored to receive the prestigious recognition of being appointed as a World Civility Ambassador. This honor, the highest award in its category, is a testament to the values of civility, integrity, and transformative leadership that guide my journey.
This moment is a powerful reminder that no journey is ever walked alone. To my family, friends, colleagues, and mentors—thank you for believing in me, even during the challenging times. Your unwavering support has been my foundation.
Being recognized by iChange Nations, the world’s largest culture of honor organization, in a foreign land reaffirms that the work we do to inspire change and foster civility resonates far beyond our borders. This honor represents more than just personal recognition it is a celebration of the collective impact we can achieve through vision, dedication, and exceptional commitment to service.
I am particularly inspired to share this recognition with such distinguished figures as H.E. Joyce Banda, the former President of Malawi; Dr. Maureen K. Shockingly, statistics reveal that 35% of women have experienced physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives.Today, in Kisii County, the GBV Technical Working Group came together to tackle this pressing issue. Their dedication to collaboration highlights the importance of collective action in addressing and preventing gender-based violence.
