We are inspired by the important conversations that took place at the West Africa Alternative Care Summit in Accra, Ghana, where leaders and child protection advocates from 13 countries gathered to advance family-based care for children.
As an organization committed to the well-being and empowerment of children, Victory CHILD Empowerment celebrates the growing movement toward ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving, and supportive family environment.
Together, we can continue advocating for policies and practices that prioritize families, protect children's rights, and create lasting change in our communities.
We appreciate the efforts of all organizations and stakeholders driving this important mission.
Representatives from BEB joined over 250 people from 13 countries at the West Africa Alternative Care Summit in Accra, Ghana. Frank Garrott and Kenneth Ayebazibwe shared the stage as keynote speakers. Additionally, BEB was represented on a panel and conducted a breakout session.
Garrott said: “There was an overwhelming awareness and appreciation that BEB’s Children First Software is filling what has previously been a large gap in the child welfare systems in these countries. We were encouraged to witness the momentum for Care Reform in this part of the world – essentially the recognition that children belong in families rather than institutions and the will to take action to see this reform come about.”
