Mama Shwari Sacco is a woman led, women managed sacco established with the main purpose of bringing together rural women to mobilize and utilize the minimal available resources at their disposal to improve their livelihood and prevent violence at home. Mama Shwari Sacco is a product of the Centre for community mobilization and Empowerment (CECOME) geared towards the reduction of Gender

ence, and thus improve women livelihoods. The Main Objectives of Mama Shwari Sacco:
1.To support village women to maximize their potential and end Gender based Violence.
2. To enable women accumulate their minimal resources, invest to educate their children, access health care and improve their livelihood.
3.To link women to other stakeholders who will support them with farm inputs and other products that will contribute to improving women and girls’ lives.
