Last weekend, for our monthly bonding session, we had a cookout, we truly enjoyed reconnecting as a community.

We also took time for a short emotional check-in where everyone could share how they were really feeling. It was a gentle reminder that even small moments of honesty can bring people closer.

At A Million Hugs, we believe mental health support can happen in relaxed and everyday settings. Sometimes the best healing comes from good food, real conversations, and being together.

In partnership with Afromomma foundation we held a Menstrual Hygiene Management and pad donation activity for 50 girls aged 9–12 years, intentionally integrating mental health conversations to promote dignity, confidence, and emotional well-being during early puberty.

Through a strategic partnership with Ecobana Limited, which led the menstrual hygiene education. The girls received age-appropriate knowledge, encouragement, and a safe space to ask questions and express their experiences.

This holistic intervention strengthened menstrual preparedness, reduced stigma, and supported positive self-esteem among the participants, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing healthy, informed, and emotionally resilient girls.
