On 28th May, 2026, KIKOP celebrated World Menstrual Hygiene Day at Moneke Primary School in Kisii County alongside parents, teachers, students, and the Sub-County Health Management Team. Together, we promoted menstrual health awareness, dignity, and girls' education. We sincerely thank our donors and partners for making this event possible.

Today the KIKOP team had one of our quarterly meetings with the VHC!

🌿VHC stands for village health committee. This includes clan elders, community health volunteers, health promoters and traditional birth attendants.🌿

During this meeting we discussed the successful progress of KIKOP and other community health issues. Together we work towards finding solutions to health barriers in the community!

Today, we proudly joined the World AIDS Day Walk to Kisii University and showcased an exhibition table full of essential HIV-prevention tools — condoms, PrEP & PEP, menstrual health products, and a full family planning kit 🩺✨.

We also shared the range of services we offer, including our youth-friendly services (YFS) and HIV-prevention support designed for adolescents and young mums 🤝💚.

At Kikop CBO, we remain committed to empowering our community with knowledge, dignity, and access to the services they deserve.

A huge thank you to and for your continued support — your partnership makes this impact possible 🙏🏾❤️.
