The day had to come, but it hit hard. Three of these 4 girls have left WWC to attend Secondary School after the Christmas Holiday. WWC raised these girls from the tender ages of 3,4 and 5. I’m back in Kenya to spend time with 3 of our beautiful teenagers, who are moving on to Secondary School. They have been with us for 12 years! We have worked hard at prepping them for life outside of WWC and they are ready to hit the ground running🩷 We love you all so much!💖

Giving day, a tradition at Watoto World where the girls join in sharing meals with families in the community who needed a little extra support. The day wasn’t only about giving it was also about joy. We even got a chance to get silly with the local kids, and laughter filled the air from start to finish. It’s a tradition that teaches humility, compassion, and the power of kindness that the girls love being part of and many say they hope to carry these values with them for life. 🌍💛

Throwback to one of our favorite days this August ✨ Many of our girls had never seen this site before so exploring the Mau Mau caves, a historic site where Kenyan freedom fighters once sought refuge, was unforgettable. Between the 2km tunnels, the waterfall, playground games, and lots of dancing, the day was full of laughs. The girls even practiced their photography skills, capturing nature and each other through their own lenses. 🌿📸
