Mr. Omar Weko, Founder of Kenyans for Green World, is seen highlighting the serious effects of forest destruction in Kwale County — driven mainly by charcoal burning and illegal logging.
According to Mr. Weko, Kwale is among the regions most affected by deforestation, a crisis that threatens rainfall patterns, agriculture, water sources, and the future of coming generations. Through his community work, he has remained at the forefront of environmental conservation, tree planting, and public awareness on sustainable use of natural resources.

🌍💔 KINANGO & LUNGALUNGA ARE BLEEDING 💔🌍

We have cut down our forests, poisoned our rivers, and turned a blind eye as greedy hands strip our land bare. Today, Kinango and parts of Lungalunga are crying out in pain—dry wells, dying trees, choking dust, and floods of suffering that we created with our own neglect.

How much more destruction will it take before we wake up?
How long will we trade our children’s future for quick money and empty promises?

This is not just nature fighting back—
It is a warning.
A warning that if we do not rise, protect, and restore,
Kwale will become a land of memories instead of life.
