📢 Official Update: 2025 SDG Awards Participation

Steve & Co Foundation is honoured to have participated in the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Awards organized by the National Youth Council – Kenya.

Our submission under SDG 13: Climate Action showcased our ongoing efforts in youth-led environmental awareness, community climate adaptation initiatives, and ecosystem restoration activities.

We extend our warm congratulations to the organizations shortlisted for this year’s Awards. Their work reflects the collective commitment of young people championing sustainable development across the country.

As Steve & Co Foundation, we remain fully aligned to the national “Race to 2030” agenda and will continue scaling our climate action initiatives across Kenyan communities. Our focus is to deepen collaboration, strengthen impact, and drive innovative solutions that build climate resilience.

Steve & Co Foundation in Evaluation stage and thereafter — Shortlisting for the 2025 SDG Awards by the National Youth Council – Kenya

Nairobi, Kenya — 7th November, 2025

Steve & Co Foundation is proud to announce its selection for the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Awards, organized by the National Youth Council (NYC) in partnership with the State Department for Economic Planning and the Inter-Agency Technical Working Committee on SDGs.

This recognition highlights our organization’s commitment to SDG 13 – Climate Action, through community-driven environmental initiatives focused on youth climate leadership, tree restoration programs, and local awareness campaigns promoting sustainable adaptation practices.

The evaluation stages affirms the Foundation’s growing impact in advancing Kenya’s climate resilience agenda and empowering young people to lead in the “Race to 2030.”

“This milestone belongs to every young person who believes that climate action starts at the grassroots. Being shortlisted among Kenya’s top youth-led organizations validates our mission — to turn awareness into tangible climate resilience,” said Steve Were, Founder and Chairperson of Steve & Co Foundation.

The evaluation process precedes the voting stage, which will be notified in due course, during which Kenyans and partners will have an opportunity to support shortlisted organizations in the final round.

We remain deeply grateful to our volunteers, community partners, and supporters who continue to drive our impact. Together, we’re building a climate-smart future — one project, one village, one youth at a time.
