*The Power of Kujituma*

One lesson I keep learning and relearning is the power of kujituma.

This is not coming from a point of privilege but I hold the strong opinion that ukiwa Nairobi na ukose kabisa the means to survive you have yourself to blame .

There’s so much you can do to make money. I know some will argue that you will first need money to make money , but what are friends and family for?

I remember my first years in campus when I would sale mtumba handbags and earrings from Dubois to survive I would sell mtumba clothes to make some small small survival monies.

Many years later I’ve ventured into several other small businesses that needed little to zero capital to start; ventured into branding business where I sell branded note books pens etc I still do it. I ventured into the sale of clothes through Sicho Collections and still do it ( businesses that don’t even need a physical shop)

Using my social media following I’ve partnered with several brands in the past for business and made my small small Monies that would take care of my rent and upkeep needs .

All these small ventures have opened up doors for me for bigger opportunities that I will talk about some other day ( when I will talk about the power of networking)

The point is this kujituma is the secret to making it. You have to wake up and “get on your zoom everyday” get up and get grinding hautakosa unga ya siku. Usiseme tu ipo siku; hiyo siku ni Leo.

I hope this inspires someone to Get up and do something about your life.

Good evening Kenyans. It’s been a minute.
