Ciheb Kenya is implementing the SOAR (Smoking Optimization and Alcohol Reduction) Study with financial support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We are pleased to announce that the study is now fully activated, with participant identification and pre-screening currently underway.

The study recognizes that living well with HIV involves more than taking HIV medication. Factors such as to***co use and harmful alcohol consumption can affect overall health and quality of life. By addressing these challenges, SOAR seeks to support more comprehensive approaches that improve long-term health outcomes for people living with HIV.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the study progresses.

Healthy choices begin with access to the right information and services.
This week, Ciheb Kenya partnered with the United States International University - Africa for its Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Week, bringing HIV Testing Services (HTS) closer to students in a safe, confidential and supportive environment.

Through this partnership, students had the opportunity to know their HIV status, receive accurate health information, and take positive steps toward protecting their health and well-being.
By working with institutions of higher learning, we are expanding access to essential health services and empowering young people to make informed decisions, free from stigma.

We look forward to building on this partnership to create healthier campuses, strengthen communities, and improve health outcomes for young people.

Through our health information systems support, we are making it easier for clinicians to manage data efficiently, allowing them more time to focus on what matters most: the patient.

During the recent operational assessment of Lenacapavir uptake at Riruta Health Centre, the integration of robust data systems proved critical in managing the deployment of the long-acting injectable for HIV prevention.

Through strategic health information systems (HIS) support, Ciheb Kenya Ciheb Global continues to streamline clinic workflows and optimize data management efficiencies for clinicians.
