MANY Kenyans still struggle to understand how a leader accused of shooting DJ Evolve at close range continues to enjoy political freedom, public rallies, and media attention while the victim’s life was permanently altered.

Leadership demands accountability, restraint, and respect for the law, yet this case continues to symbolize the deep inequality where influential politicians appear to escape the wrath of our justice system, while ordinary citizens face swift punishments.

Rather than behaving like a public servant burdened by the gravity of the allegations against him, Babu Owino continues politicking as though nothing happened. That reality leaves many citizens angry, disillusioned, and questioning whether justice truly applies equally to all.

WHERE did these containers imported under former President Uhuru Kenyatta go? Send us a photo wherever they're!

These were supposed to be Container Clinics, imported in 2016. Do you remember who had imported them? KSh 5.3 billion was spent on these supposedly medical units, but they were not used. They are rusting somewhere!

Have Kenyans forgotten? Now the work of the puppet they're bankrolling is for them to use him to resume the looting just like before!

DO KENYANS FORGET TOO FAST?

RIGATHI Gachagua, Kenya’s Deputy President from September 2022 until his October 2024 impeachment. As DP, he engaged in multiple corruption and misconduct some of which led to his impeachment.

Key included unexplained wealth accumulation of KSh 5.2 billion, inconsistent with his official income, and links to various high-value properties. He was accused of abusing office by diverting public resources, interfering in KEMSA tenders, and using proxy companies for personal gain.

Money laundering allegations involved numerous firms tied to illicit funds. He also faced claims of misusing public money for luxury renovations. Additional impeachment grounds included insubordination, ethical violations, and promoting divisive ethnic politics.

He was previously sacked as a DO for stealing food that's was meant for hungry residents!

THE muted response to yesterday’s protests can be attributed to a combination of socio-economic realities, shifting public sentiment, and perceptions of political leadership. First, the opposition lacks a clear, coherent, and actionable agenda. Without well-defined objectives, mobilization efforts struggle to inspire widespread confidence or participation.

Second, economic pressures continue to shape citizen priorities. Many Kenyans remain focused on daily income generating activities, making participation in protests, especially those unlikely to yield immediate benefits a difficult trade-off. Third, public tolerance for disruptive demonstrations appears to be declining. There is increasing reluctance to engage in or support protests that risk business interruptions or property damage, reflecting a preference for stability.

Additionally, ongoing development projects in various parts of the country are influencing public perception. Visible infrastructure and government initiatives confirm that the current leadership under H.E President William Samoei Ruto is making progress, reducing the urgency to protest.

THE previous regimes of Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta perpetuated historical neglect in Kenya’s North Eastern region. Despite national growth, the area lagged in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security investment. Persistent underdevelopment, limited state presence, and heavy-handed security operations reinforced perceptions of exclusion.

These patterns entrenched economic deprivation and deepened regional inequalities, leaving communities marginalized from mainstream national progress and decision-making processes.

H.E President William Samoei Ruto is addressing marginalization in North Eastern by investing in roads, affordable housing, and markets, while abolishing the humiliating vetting process to promote inclusion, dignity, and equal economic opportunity.
