The Confusion In The Opposition Camp Revealed.

THE confusion within the opposition is real. With barely 14 months remaining before the General Election, the cartels and political mafia led by Uhuru Kenyatta are in total disarray. They are uncertain about who among their surrogates has the political strength and national appeal to challenge the political juggernaut that is H.E. President William Samoei Ruto. As a result, they are testing one potential candidate after another, gauging public reaction like overused Eveready battery cells being repeatedly checked for any remaining charge.

Today, they present Fred Matiang'i. However, concerns about his perceived authoritarian style, limited support in his home turf, and the lingering "River Yala" tag make it difficult for them to confidently market him as a definitive presidential contender. Then there is Kalonzo Musyoka, a veteran politician whose lacks any significant development record and has been indecisive at critical political moments. While he and his Kamba community believe his time has come, questions remain. Having once served as Vice President, his subsequent political downfall raises concerns about whether he possesses the assertiveness and political aggression often required to reach the highest office.

The same political forces now appear excited by the passing wind surrounding Edwin Sifuna. Following a brief social media frenzy of "Mimi ni Sifuna," they seem to believe they have discovered yet another potential candidate, further deepening the confusion within their camp. Sifuna himself, buoyed by the attention, appears increasingly engulfed in false political gratification, thinking he has stepped into the shoes of Raila Odinga. However, the recent walk out of mourners who were led by Didmus Barasa has questioned his feeble support even in his home base. The opposition's predicament is further complicated by the ambitions of Rigathi Gachagua and James Orengo, who are also nurturing presidential aspirations.

With multiple personalities pulling in different directions, the opposition is increasingly becoming more fragmented and confused, than united. The verdict is straightforward: in every political formula the opposition attempts to construct, the arithmetic simply does not add up. Whether through conventional calculations or even political Pythagoras, the answer remains the same.

A "TUTAM" outcome is inevitable.

BABU Owino's ignorance has been exposed!!

EXCELLING in mathematics should never be mistaken for mastery in finance or economics. The ability to solve formulas and interpret figures does not automatically translate into expertise in budgeting, taxation, economic policy, auditing, or management of public resources.

True financial knowledge comes from understanding systems, regulations, markets, governance, and real-world economic challenges. In politics, many citizens are easily impressed by confidence, statistics, and technical vocabulary without questioning actual competence.

However, presenting numbers skillfully is completely different from understanding how economies function and how public funds should be managed responsibly. Even calculators cannot replace genuine financial expertise.

Babu should go back to school and study Accounting.
