Different contexts. Common aspirations.

Young people may come from different places, grow up with different experiences and face different challenges, but there are some things we all want: the freedom to dream, the chance to learn, to be heard, to make our own choices and to build a future that feels like our own. Sometimes, it’s as simple as having people around you who make the journey a little lighter.

At MTG, we see this in the girls we work with every day. Their stories are different, but their hopes are just as big. Through football, friendships and opportunities to discover what they’re capable of, they remind us that while our starting points may differ, the future we hope for can look remarkably similar.

Happy International Youth Day!

Safe Sport Day at Mdzongoloni! ⚽💙
We had a great time with our friends from URDD and the girls, sharing ideas on how we can keep children safe in sports and getting creative as we each put down what “Safe Sport means to us.”Because sport should always be a space to play, grow, have fun and feel safe! ✨

Learning, laughing, and growing together! 💙⚽✨

Our friends from URDD joined the girls at Mbwana League Field, and it was all about building confidence, sharing skills, and having meaningful conversations. From CV writing to interview prep, the girls came ready to learn and definitely had a few things to say!

“I am so happy today because I have made new friends and I also got to learn about good communication skills and new games like netball and rugby.”

And today, we’re taking that same energy to Mdzongoloni as we mark Safe Sport Day together! 🥳⚽

Because every girl deserves a space where she can play, learn, speak up, and feel safe.

Today we celebrate our MTG United Team Patron for incredible academic achievements. You are indeed a role model and we hope that many girls will be inspired to pursue their dreams.

Today, I am deeply grateful to celebrate the successful completion of my Master of Education (Leadership and Management) from Mt. Kenya University.

This achievement is far more than an academic qualification; it is a testament to perseverance, discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning. Every challenge along this journey strengthened my character and reaffirmed my belief that great leadership begins with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.

I give all glory and honor to Almighty God for His grace, favor, and faithfulness throughout this journey. My heartfelt appreciation also goes to my family, lecturers, mentors, colleagues, and friends whose encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support made this milestone possible.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to H.E. Governor Gideon Mung'aro for creating an enabling environment that has allowed me to grow professionally and advance academically while serving the people of Kilifi County. Your leadership and support have inspired continuous learning and personal development, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity.

As I embark on this new chapter, I remain committed to applying the knowledge, skills, and values I have gained to provide ethical, effective, and transformative leadership in service to the people of Kilifi County.

This is not the end of the journey but the beginning of greater opportunities to serve with excellence, integrity, and purpose.

I humbly dedicate this achievement to the people of Kilifi County, whose trust and support continue to inspire my commitment to public service.

To God be all the glory.

Throwback to a proud moment in MTG's journey as we represented Kenya at the Goal 5 World Cup. This milestone was more than a victory on the pitch. It showcased the power of sport to create opportunities, build confidence, and inspire girls to dream beyond boundaries. As we celebrate this achievement, we're reminded that every milestone fuels the journey toward an even brighter future.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

We asked people across our organization to complete the sentence: “I help keep children safe in sport by…”

Every action matters. Together, we can create safe, respectful, and inclusive spaces where every child can participate, grow, and thrive.
