Tuungane Youth Group herein referred to as "TYG" is a non- profit and Non-Governmental Youth Group registered in Kenya under the ministry of Youths and Social Services board with the mandate of providing youth empowerment of young people to take active re OBJECTIVES
To provide a platform for the "Youths" where they will not only grow and enhance their interest and talents but also can utilize them
towards something productive for the betterment of our nation. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
* To address sustainable development, environment and climate change.
* To foster equal opportunity for all those disabled and at risk of exclusion.
* Develop solidarity and promote talent among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the community.
* To promote the rights of children, disabled and minor and protect any form of abuse.
* To fight HIV/AIDS pandemic in communities. TYG BELIEFS
* Enhance local knowledge and skills in youths well-being.
* Create safe social spaces for discussion of issues that youths face.
* Enhance the sense of ownership, responsibility and community activism to improve youths self-esteem.
* Increase confidence in local strengths and resources to make a difference for youths.
* Build collaborative community relationships, initiatives and networks.
* Increase access to essential services including health, education, social and legal protection services for youths.
* Strong articulate our mission.
* Clarity and consistency between goals and strategies with ongoing efforts to strengthen programs that provides holistic support for the juveniles.
* Partner and collaborate with other Organizations and relevant government agencies to improve services for juveniles
