Upendo Children Kilifi The organization was founded in 2002 by a group of women from the Kilifi Methodist Church.

Upendo Children Kilifi provides holistic support to orphans and vulnerable children in Kilifi County through advancing their access to quality education, feeding, healthcare, housing improvement, psychosocial support & vocational skills training. Upendo Kenya is a Community Based Organization that provides holistic support to orphans and destitute children in Kilifi County in the form of food, edu

cation, housing, healthcare, psycho-social support, skills empowerment, and other forms of support. Upendo Kenya is a non-residential institution (day care center) in order to give the children a normal family environment. The children are taken care of from Monday to Saturday, in which after supper; the children leave to their guardians’ homes. The organization currently supports 62 children at different levels of education.
