Hands Up CBO e3Kids International work on pictures.
The last three years we have had an incredible opportunity to serve some of the most vulnerable families across Mariakani, Kaloleni SubCounty, Kilifi County Kenya. By the grace of God we have been able to directly affect over 600 families. That translates to a population of 4200 people.
We have supported families with food, farm inputs, medical issues through our medical camps, financial and enterprenuership skills transfer through our robust training program, children mentorship and digital literacy through our weekly session with children. So far ten community groups are fully fanctioning with activities like savings, table Banking and other social economic activities.
It's been three years of learning which has in turn given us first hand community knowledge, challenges and how to collaboratively tackle them with the community members.
As we reflect back, we want to say that nothing beats the joy of seeing community transformed, families strengthened and hope restored.
