Catherine Dzame Mukunza
Hon. Catherine Dzame Mukunza is the national women leader of United Green Movement (UGM) and founder of Malindi Nest CBO. She ardently spearheads social justice, sustainability, peace, democracy, youth and women empowerment and environmental agenda. Malindi Nest CBO has been instrumental in impacting various skills to women and youth groups in Kilifi County.
She works majorly in Kilifi County with travels to Nairobi, Mombasa and the entire East Africa region mobilizing people towards this course. For her, the United Green Movement (UGM) aims at making our society a better place for everyone. She attended Mundia Secondary School in 1987, Joselymes School of Counselling and Catering, Mahanaim Bible College and Vlan College of Business and Technology among others.
Hon Dzambe is a theologian, a senior church administrator and the Presiding Bishop at Grace and Power of God Church in Nairobi’s Kasarani area. She is also an entrepreneur. She equally serves as a dedicated treasurer of over 20 women table banking groups with a high degree of leadership. She has been championing for peace and stability at the Coast through organized seminars for the youth and women, who make a majority of the populace in the region.
