Festival 26 is a global youth gathering developed to harness the power of sport to create transformative opportunities for young people, hosted by and with support from .

We can't wait to get there!

For many young women in slums, the path to work is shaped by access to skills, confidence, information, and real opportunities. Through ’s project, the training helps young women prepare for employment, entrepreneurship, apprenticeships, and digital work opportunities.

This approach works. In 2025, over 90% of young people supported through the TechCraft pilot secured jobs or income-generating opportunities. For us, economic empowerment starts before the first paycheck. It starts when young people are equipped to see possibilities, build confidence, and take their next steps toward sustainable futures.

When childcare becomes the difference between staying in school and dropping out - a new on how locally driven collaborations are transforming the education of teenage mothers in .

"What stands out in Rongai is not just the presence of a daycare; it is what the daycare makes possible. It allows girls to remain in school and keep learning alongside their peers. It allows a teenage mother to imagine a future where motherhood is part of her story, not the end of it." This is the power of locally led solutions.

Our collective celebrations in were energetic! We united at Vitengeni ACC Grounds with the Kilifi County Government and like-minded stakeholders to champion dignity, awareness, and access to safe menstrual hygiene for every girl and woman!

The ACC Vitengeni Division advocated for affordable menstrual products - and even free products in schools. The Hon. Clara Chonga, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Gender, Culture, Social Services, Sports and Special Programmes, highlighted the power of male involvement in building a Period‑Friendly World.

Together, we’re breaking stigma and fighting for a future where no girl is left behind.

It restricts educational attainment, limits workforce participation, and deepens gender inequalities. Therefore, we call upon like minded organizations to accelerate collective action towards ensuring a
